National Tiles’ stunning new Porfido range distils the essential appeal of classical porphyry into durable Italian porcelain stoneware.Â
The range is offered in two standard formats: 250x250mm and 250x500mm. These can be used individually or in combination. When used together, these complementary formats draw out the timeless appeal of this much-prized and durable stone, widely used for external paving.
This superb porphyry imitation has several benefits over the natural stone that inspired it. Firstly, installing it is significantly more cost-effective and can be laid on a standard adhesive bed with a minimum 3mm grout joint. In contrast, most natural stone products must be laid in a thick mortar bed.
