From the butlers pantry through to the laundry, the soft tonal checkerboard brings character, movement and a subtle vintage feel to an otherwise minimal palette. The Waterside Hotel. Featured in our Winter 2026 Lookbook. More than a renovation, this project is a masterclass in creating atmosphere through colour, texture and materiality. Working closely with designer Eleisha Gray, tiles became a key part of the story - layering rich colour, soft curves and carefully considered combinations throughout the venue. From ground level through to level five, the Urban Atelier range helped transform this Melbourne icon into a collection of spaces that feel connected, expressive and full of character.
