National Tiles x Stone Ambassador

National Tiles x Stone Ambassador

15 September 2025

At National Tiles, we know that surfaces are more than just backdrops - they’re the foundation of how we live and experience our homes. That’s why our partnership with Stone Ambassador is so exciting. With a reputation for innovation, sustainability, and design-forward thinking, Stone Ambassador is setting a new benchmark for decorative surfaces in Australia.

Annalyse Vamvalis

We spoke with Annalyse Vamvalis, Senior Marketing Coordinator at Stone Ambassador, to explore the brand’s story, its philosophy, and how it continues to evolve. “My role goes beyond traditional campaign execution.” explains Annalyse. “It’s about reflecting Stone Ambassador’s core values of trust, quality, and collaboration in every touchpoint. Our marketing strategy focuses on building genuine connections across both residential and commercial markets. We blend storytelling with visual excellence to showcase the innovation, durability, and design versatility of our surfaces. Whether it’s engaging with architects, builders, or end homeowners, our aim is to consistently inspire confidence and foster long-term relationships through curated content and consistent brand messaging.”

A Family-Founded Vision:

Stone Ambassador began in 2012, founded by two Turkish-Australian brothers alongside a business partner in China. With a background in building, they identified a gap in the Australian market for premium decorative surfaces. What started as a single showroom in Victoria has rapidly expanded to six showrooms across five states, reflecting strong growth and a national demand for innovative, high-quality products.

Pioneering Zero-Silica Surfaces

One of Stone Ambassador’s most significant breakthroughs is Zenith Surfaces, a 0% crystalline silica product developed in response to health and regulatory changes. “Fabricator safety is a huge issue,” Annalise notes. “Zenith was developed using 89% recycled glass, recycled water, and reduced power consumption. It’s about creating beautiful products ethically and sustainably.” This innovation not only supports safer work practices but also demonstrates the brand’s commitment to sustainable surface technology. All Zenith surfaces are fully NATA-certified, ensuring transparency, accountability, and peace of mind for homeowners and professionals alike.

Design Versatility: Zenith and Vasari:

Stone Ambassador’s range is built around two key product lines:

  • - Zenith Surfaces – ideal for high-traffic interiors such as kitchen benchtops and splashbacks.
  • - Vasari Porcelain Surfaces – versatile for indoor and outdoor use, including splashbacks, cladding, floors, and commercial applications.

“Zenith excels in everyday residential spaces, while Vasari’s heat resistance makes it a favourite among professional chefs,” Annalyse says. “The choice depends on the project - design intent, heat and stain resistance, and application context all play a role.”

Bold Palettes & Emerging Trends

Stone Ambassador’s dedicated R&D team constantly tracks global design directions. Recent launches, including Perla Venata, marked a shift toward warmer tones—a move embraced by designers and consumers alike. Building on that success, the brand has introduced eight new colours for 2025–26, with warm, bold veining and adventurous palettes. “We’re seeing strong demand for both soft and dramatic veining, as well as a balance of warm and cool tones,” Annalyse says. “Designers and homeowners are becoming more daring - it’s an exciting time for surface design.”

Sustainability, Safety & Storytelling:

Stone Ambassador embeds sustainability and safety into its products, from zero silica content to recycled materials. Beyond compliance, these credentials inform the brand’s design messaging, differentiating it in the market and reinforcing trust. The brand also prioritises collaboration. Working with designers, stylists, and partners like National Tiles, Stone Ambassador showcases surfaces in real-world applications, from fireplaces and bars to bathrooms and splashbacks. “When people choose our products, they’re telling a story through design,” Annalyse explains.

Beyond the Kitchen:

While benchtops remain the “bread and butter,” homeowners are experimenting with laundries, bathrooms, feature walls, outdoor spaces and commercial spaces. With a 10-year warranty across its range, Stone Ambassador encourages creative applications with confidence. Annalyse adds, “Many people are surprised by how effortless our surfaces are to live with - durable, low maintenance, and elevating the feel of the space every day. It’s what builds lasting satisfaction and loyalty.”

Looking Ahead - Innovation in the Next Five Years:

Stone Ambassador anticipates the next wave of kitchens and bathrooms will focus on:

  • - Seamless surfaces & monolithic design
  • - Warm minimalism
  • - Integrated lighting & smart adaptive fixtures
  • - Hidden tech & storage solutions
  • - Sustainability-driven upgrades

Bold expression, technological advances, and emotionally resonant design will define the next era of interior surfaces, ensuring beauty and functionality go hand in hand.
