Blending the textural magic of terracotta with the elegance of matchstick mosaics, our brand new Fragmenti Cotto collection offers up the best of Tuscan design. Made from Galestro clay sourced from quarries in the valleys surrounding Florence, these fabulous Italian tiles carry with them the wealth of tradition that the region’s artisan potters have been following for hundreds of years.
Rich, earthy orange tones flecked with white form each tile, demonstrating the beauty in simplicity and adding tactile layers of intrigue. Their timeless colour is contrasted with their contemporary elongated shape, with each tile running parallel with one another to form wonderful designs, ripe with architectural opportunity.
Fragmenti Cotto’s slim, simple shapes are highly versatile, ideal for forming around curves, adding height to a space, and creating illusions of perspective. Their textured surface adds a touch of the organic, forming spa-like bathrooms, classy kitchens, or even incredible bedrooms.
Three variations make up the collection - Fragmenti Cotto Lungo 3 Mosaic which features a singular set of parallel tiles, Fragmenti Cotto Lungo 2 Mosaic which features two rows of smaller parallel tiles, and Fragmenti Cotto Corto 2 Mosaic which features three rows of even smaller parallel tiles. Select the size that suits you or play with variations in scale for a harmonious, yet dynamic, design.
The Fragmenti Cotto collection is suitable for use both on the walls and on the floor, and each mosaic sheet measures 298mmx298mm.
