Surface Finish - Embossed In Register
Going beyond simple aesthetics, an embossed in register surface recreates the look and feel of real timber planks. Registered embossing emulates the exact photographic image underneath, meaning that you not only see timber grain and knots, you can also feel the realistic texture.
Material - Laminate
Also called floating wood tile, Laminate is a multi-layered flooring product made by fusing together different materials. It is comprised of a melamine bottom layer, high density fibre board (HDF) and photographic layer under a transparent, embossed layer with a protective wear coating.
Laminate flooring is durable. With an aluminium oxide top coating, it withstands most scratches, dents, fading and stains associated with regular domestic usage by families with kids and pets.
National Tiles Laminate Flooring is not suitable in wet areas and prolonged exposure to water may cause damage to the floor.
Edge - Bevelled
Bevelled tiles undergo a process called bevelling, which is used to take off as little as 0.5 mm of a tile's edge to create a micro level. Bevelled tiles are ideal for areas such as bathrooms, kitchens and laundry, imparting a contemporary look to the surroundings.
